Yesterday marked the activation of Step 3 of the Governments roadmap out of lockdown in England. The question on many people’s mind is what will the new normal for events look like and what will we do to ensure they are safe?
The answer is clear, we will be with you every step of the way. It is our job as events planners to reassure you, our attendees, that you’re in a safe space!
Here is what we’ll be delivering to make sure we’ve touched all the bases and you & all attendees feel as comfortable as possible.
Visiting venues to get the look and feel of the place is important factor in selecting the right venue for your event. Since the rules changed on 29th March you have been able to visit venues for Potential Business Events.
We know that not everyone feels comfortable doing this, so if you would prefer to not attend a site visit just yet, a lot of venues now provide virtual tours so we can still plan the logistics and creative elements of your events without physically been in the venue.
To create a hybrid event, you take your live event, and you add a virtual component so that your audience can participate and engage with your live audience even though they are not in the same room. Everyone will see the same content and come away with the same experience.
If there are limitations on how many people you can physically fit in a venue, hybrid is the perfect way to reach audiences that either can’t make it or don’t feel comfortable in a live setting just yet.
Social Distancing Measures
We have been working with Health and Safety experts to ensure that once the government release definite guidance we will be able to create safe events.
Our Measures include:
Sanitisers stations available
Regular cleaning of equipment throughout the event
One-way walk systems
Limits on numbers
Organised social distanced queuing
We are feeling positive that events will be able to resume from June 21st without any restrictions. However, we understand that not everyone does feel this way at the moment. This is why we have put in place our ‘Book with Confidence – Covid Cover’ meaning that if your event cannot go ahead due to government restrictions you will have two options; 1, Change your event date free of charge or 2, Receive a full refund. We want to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible when booking with us and we feel this is the best way to do that.
